You should consume no more carbs than being at a healthy Body weight. To help build muscle, consume healthy proteins such as from lean beef, chicken, fish, eggs, beans and almonds.  
  · You maximum heart rate is approximately 220 minus your age; while working-out your target heart rate should be between 50-85% of that number.
